Tier is a sparsely populated tropical planet in contested space, presently controlled by the Sun Jin Empire. It is the primary setting for much of 🟩 RSR - Bloodtiger as experienced through Forza Ninetails’s point of view: a remote world where his attempt to live quietly collides with covert warfare, buried memories, and the spreading influence of Jethro.

Overview

Tier is a forest-and-mountain world with a population of roughly 10,000. Although it lies within Sun Jin territory and is administered under imperial control, it occupies a strategically unstable region where control is measured less by permanent settlement than by who can keep ships supplied, cargo moving, and intelligence flowing.

The planet’s remoteness makes it useful to competing powers. Sun Jin maintains the practical authority to use its ports, depots, and contractors, while the Systems Alliance operates indirectly through embedded intelligence assets. Much of that shadow conflict is hidden beneath ordinary logistics work.

For Forza Ninetails, Tier is both refuge and pressure chamber. He lives there under an alias, working within Asuya Co. while trying to remain out of sight of higher-level Alliance figures. The relative quiet allows him to build a life with Shiinx, but it cannot insulate him from the nightmares, lost memories, and internal darkness that follow him.

Role in Bloodtiger

Tier anchors the opening movement and a substantial portion of Forza’s arc in 🟩 RSR - Bloodtiger. Its apparent isolation gives the early story an intimate scale: hidden bases, forest routes, damaged installations, and small teams operating far from conventional armies. Beneath that surface, however, Tier sits at the intersection of the story’s largest conflicts:

The planet’s wilderness repeatedly turns ordinary missions into close-range encounters. Dense forest, steep ridges, unreliable visibility, and long distances from rapid support make it easy to conceal wreckage, people, surveillance sites, and ambushes.

Political and strategic situation

Tier is a Sun Jin-controlled planet in contested space. Sun Jin is the recognized local power, but the planet is neither secure nor isolated from Alliance interest. Its value comes from its position along supply routes and its usefulness as a transfer point for weapons, cargo, personnel, and intelligence.

Rather than relying on a single centralized logistics network, the planet hosts numerous independent or nominally neutral contractor companies. These outfits service whichever power presently holds enough leverage to pay and protect them. Their warehouses, depots, cargo manifests, and transport operations form the practical infrastructure of the occupation—and create ideal cover for espionage.

Asuya Co.

Asuya Co. is one of many logistics and mercenary contractors operating on Tier. Publicly, it moves cargo, equipment, and personnel and supports Sun Jin supply activity. Its Tier facility appears to be an unremarkable logistics depot among many similar businesses scattered across the planet.

Privately, Asuya serves as a Systems Alliance intelligence foothold inside Sun Jin-held territory. Selected personnel monitor ship movements, inspect cargo patterns, collect weapons and routing information, and transmit their findings back to the Alliance. Its ordinary commercial role gives the operation enough legitimacy to remain close to Sun Jin activity without attracting immediate suspicion.

Asuya also provides the cover under which Forza can remain hidden in plain sight. Within company records and daily operations he uses the name “Liam,” allowing him to work security and logistics under Shiinx’s command while avoiding scrutiny from figures connected to his earlier captivity and weapons testing.
